Welcome
You’ve come to the right place. Starting therapy can be very intimidating, but my goal is to make this transition as insightful and approachable as possible. Learning something new is not always easy.
Our Services
-
Individual Counseling
Sometimes going around and around in your thoughts can only make things worse. Anxiety, depression, confusion, grief, anger (to name a few), are emotions we all feel, and sometimes we need a little help to better understand where they came from and why they’re showing up now. I approach each client with a culmination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and Mindfulness. Sessions are 45-50 minutes long and are $110 a session. (I accept Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, and cash.) I do not accept insurance.

Couples Counseling
Relationships are in everything. Intimate romantic relationships are much more intricate and have multiple facets. Adding more vulnerability can often make navigating differences much more difficult or weighted. Sometimes sadness is disguised by anger. Having an unbiased third party to reflect and safely contain multiple aspects of the relationship can be very detangling. Not all growth is comfortable, but being willing to try is half the battle. 45-50 minute couples sessions are $150 and 90-95 minute sessions are $200. (I accept Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, and cash.) I do not accept insurance.

Virtual & In Person
There are benefits to both. For sessions that are virtual, I will send you a secure HIPAA approved Zoom link and will request you have a place you can focus and have some privacy, and not be driving. Sessions in person, my office is in downtown Dripping Springs, behind HomeSpun off East Mercer Street. There is plenty of parking and a nice lobby you can wait in. I will promptly retrieve you at the time of your appointment. Please silence your cell phone while inside. All appointments require a 48-hour notice for cancellation or you will be charged for a full session.
Frequently Asked Questions

Therapy is an opportunity to discuss/talk about issues that are important to the client, while having a trained objective person (Therapist) to help work through not only the current situation, but in dealing with similar situations in the future. Therapy can be about one specific problem, or it can be about multiple. Often times it is childhood traumas we never thought about. Something to mention, is that therapy is a collaborative event, it requires an active role from both the client and the therapist for change to occur.

A session typically lasts 45-50 minutes, but a longer session may be arranged. Research shows it is most beneficial for clients to come in on a weekly basis, but often every other week or even twice a week might be more helpful.

No, but if you believe you are in need of medication, together as a team we can discuss options and I can provide you with names of doctors who may be of help to you.
